When Cristalier Designer #2 faced the challenge to create a Crystal Wedding Tree in one hour or less, the first thing that popped into her head was...    "I want my tree to be the Belle of the Ball"   We think this crystal wedding tree is sure to be! Designer 2    Inspiration: I love the movie "Gone with the Wind." The BBQ Ball makes me wish I had experienced something so regal, so rich and elegant, yet fun and enlightening. I thought if I could have introduced a wedding tree back then what would it look like?     Biggest Challenge: The flower balls. I didn't have fresh flowers available so I had to improvise by using the heads off silk flowers. I used the votive holders as vases to hold the Flowers.     Favorite Feature: When hanging the large flower balls, I really appreciated that the twigs could be adjusted to allow the balls to hang nicely. A real manzanita tree could prove difficult when adding extra things like flowers or candles.     Alternate Ideas: I would like to see this tree done with large white fragrant Magnolias.     Final thoughts: I really liked the way the crystals picked up the flower colors, if your budget allows definately use real flowers. I really enjoyed creating this crystal wedding tree. It was very quick & easy.

Moving the Twigs for Flower Balls.

Our metal wedding trees have large "branches" and smaller "twigs".   The branches can be turned 4 different ways. You can adjust them to be either vertical or horizontal.   Each branch has mulitple "twigs". These twigs can be adjusted by gently moving them in any direction.   To move the twigs, gently place one hand on branch and the other on the twig where it meets the branch. You only need to use light pressure to move the twig to where you want. If you want a kink in the twig, just pinch the twig where you want to place a kink. Your twigs can be adjusted numerous times and will still be strong enough to hold votives, flowers and strands of crystals.   If you choose to spray paint your tree another color such as silver or gold, be sure to adjust your branches prior to painting. That way the paint won't possibly flake off when adjusting the branches.   Enjoy using your tree over and over again!
